But anyway, I have over 40 videos that are waiting to be edited and uploaded to XTube, but I can't do anything with them because I just don't have the capability.I've been using my good friend's Mac with Final Cut Pro software, but I've only been able to use it whenever he's not home using it himself. And he's always home! I just really need a new computer. I'm happy buying a refurbished computer, but it needs to happen soon. It's getting to the point where I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the videos I have piling up. And I just know that you guys want to see what I've been up to the last few months. I'm telling you, I've got some fucking HOT HOT HOT videos on the way. Some of the hottest I've ever filmed, including follow-ups to "Afternoon Delight" and "A Hot Nasty Night," plus a super-hot one that I call "Dirty Puppy's 3-Load Hookup," which is just what it sounds like: me milking three hot creamy loads out of a hot new play buddy.
I'm really dying to get these videos edited and uploaded to the site for you, but I simply can't do it with the facilities that I have, so I have created a PayPal account that my fans can donate to so that I can go out and buy a new iMac computer and the Final Cut Pro editing suite. I've been looking at some refurbished Macs and the Final Cut software on Amazon, and I estimate both to cost roughly $2,500, so it might take a while before I reach my goal, but I will be building this money up in my savings account until I am able to afford the new computer. Why don't I just put it on a credit card or take out a loan, you ask? Because I don't have a credit card, first of all, and secondly, I have terrible credit. And because I'm unemployed right now with no job in sight, I'm very strapped for income.
Just in case you are thinking, "Wow, this guy is full of himself to ask people to buy him a new computer during a recession" (as somebody said in one of the comments below), I'll point out that it is quite common among filmmakers, artists, musicians and porn stars to start fundraising campaigns to complete their projects or start their own businesses. It's done on Kickstarter.com all the time. (I would have used Kickstarter for this campaign, but they keep a percentage of the funds donated.) I want to make it clear, however, that I'm not just asking for handouts here. I wouldn't dream of asking people for donations if I'm not willing to give something back. OMG! I can't believe what I'm reading here! Just how highly do you think of yourself? You must never be hungry since you're SO full of yourself all the time. ReplyDeleteHey man, I am a video editor and just wanted to let you know that a quad core pc is much cheaper, faster and edits high-def and standard-def just the same as a mac. For under a thousand you can get a complete set up that will edit and encode those videos faster than those dual core macs you are looking at. Plus both Sony Vegas and Grass Valley's Edius will edit high-def in realtime with out extra hardware cost.

And yes, I do think highly of myself. Why shouldn't I? Why shouldn't anybody think highly of themselves? If I had good credit, I would take out a loan, but I don't. My friends have been encouraging me to do this for some time, but I was resistant. But with so many videos filmed and with me having no way to edit them, I finally relented and did it. If you want to think badly of me, that's your choice, but I invite you to look at that and figure out what is going on with you that you are so judgmental about this. It's really your issue to deal with, not mine. Take care.
